Does an executor of an estate have liability coverage from their own insurance policy if they are sued?

The executor acts on behalf of the estate. If the estate is sued, it is completely apart from the executor's personal assets or insurance.

For instance, if the XYZ Company decides to sue Mr. Jones' estate, the executor will either win or lose, and the judgement will come out of Mr. Jones' estate, not out of the executor's money.
